Support our troops!

 

We are currently accepting donations for wounded soldiers recuperating in a combat hospital in Iraq. As their recovery period can be very trying, we are specifically looking for cheerful cards and drawings from children, as well as food and toiletries.


Requested items: full-sized shampoos; conditioners; masculine body washes; DVDs; briefs (all sizes); thin twin sized blankets; Boboli pizza crust; Chef Boyardee pizza sauce; bean/vegetable soups; fat free evaporated milk; canned pumpkin; frosted mini wheats; Kashi cereals; letters, drawings, and cards for the soldiers.

 

Not needed at this time: toothpaste, toothbrushes, wipes, Tampons, socks, Q-Tips, Ramen Noodles, hand sanitizer.


This project ends January 1, 2009, when we will start another one. If you would like to participate in this project, here are five options:

 

      1. Drop off any of the requested items at our office by January 1, 2009. You may do this as much as you would like. Directions are on the Contact Us page.
      2. Donate $50 to Nurture Our World, Inc. NOW! and we will purchase the items for you, pay for shipping and put a note in the box that this package is sponsored by YOU!
      3. Donate $10.95 to Nurture Our World, Inc. NOW! for shipping and we will put a note in the box that YOU sponsored the shipping of this package.

      5. Donate any amount to Nurture Our World, Inc. NOW!
